NFL quarterback died in accident
The National Football League (NFL) mourns around the young quarterback Dwayne Haskins. The Pittsburgh Steelers confirmed the death of the 24-year-old on Saturday via Twitter.
According to an "ESPN" report, Haskins had been hit by a car in the south of Floridas and succumbed to his serious injury in the morning. He had trained in Florida with other quarterbacks and wide receivers.
"I'm destroyed on the ground and speechless," Steelers coach said Mike Tomlin. "Dwayne was a great teammate, but even more he was a wonderful friend. It breaks my heart. Our prayers and thoughts apply to his wife Kalabrya and the entire family."
Haskins had been drawn after a record season for Ohio State University 2019 in the draft from today's Washington Commander at 15th position. He did not go through as a starter and was released during his second season.
Before the past season, he signed a contract with the Steelers, for which he was no longer used. After the resignation of Ben Roethlisberger in this off-season, he should have been fighting for the role of Starting Quarterbacks.
