Jaroslav Silhavy has been looking after the Czech Republic National team for three and a half years - and that should continue to be the case. As the Czech Association Facr announced, the contract with the 60-year-old was extended until the end of the qualification phase for the EM 2024. If the team secures a ticket for the final round in Germany, the contract automatically applies to the last European Championship game of the Czech Republic.

After his team last lost 1-0 against Sweden in the play-off semi-final and thus missed the participation in the World Cup finals in Qatar, Silhavy was under pressure. The association has nevertheless decided to extend the collaboration.
